ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a significant hike in the prices of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs253.97 per kilogram.
According to a notification issued by OGRA, the new price of LPG in Pakistan will be Rs253.97 per kg whereas a full cylinder will cost Rs2,996.88. The new prices will be effective from today February 01, 2025.
This increase takes into account all relevant marketing margins, distribution margins, transportation costs, and general sales tax.

It is worth noting that the government has been striving to regulate the prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG); nonetheless, some sellers continue to charge higher rates, especially in the more remote areas.
