JHELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): In a fight against narcotics, Jhelum Valley has made a significant breakthrough, successfully arresting an accused for possessing illegal drugs.
Under the supervision of CIA In-charge Mir Muhammad Pervez, a team of officers led by Ikhtiar Shaheen, Aftab Kazmi, Shakoor Bashir, and Rashid Mir successfully apprehended Usama Younis, a resident of Seri Chehlan, in possession of hashish and charas.
As per the details, a case has been registered against the accused under Section 9-B of the Control of Narcotic Substances (Adaptation) Act, 2001.
Officers Ikhtiar Shaheen, Aftab Kazmi, Shakoor Bashir, and Rashid Mir, who were part of the team, have achieved remarkable success while continuing their vigorous operations against drug peddlers.
SP Jhelum Valley Mirza Zahid Hussain has congratulated the CIA In-charge and his team on this successful operation and expressed hope that operations against drug peddlers will continue with the same spirit in the future.
