CALIFORNIA (Kashmir English): In a recent technological development, OpenAI OpenAI’s automated task assistant is now available in multiple regions.

The operator first debuted in the United States in January 2025; it is now available for ChatGPT Pro members in several nations, including but not limited to Singapore, India, Brazil, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, and Australia.

However, it does not include the European Union, Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland.

An AIdriven assistant, the Operator helps you manage daily tasks like reserving restaurant reservations, buying things online, completing expense reports, and booking tickets.

Operator distinguishes itself from standard chatbot features by its capacity to actively engage across third-party sites and services to accomplish tasks for users.

Currently, Operator is available only to ChatGPT Pro users, who pay $200 a month for access. Operating via a specialized webpage and running in a separate browser window, the tool enables users to have control around the clock. OpenAI has plans to ultimately combine Operator with all ChatGPT users.

Other businesses including Google, Anthropic, and Rabbit are working on comparable AI-driven automation applications, therefore operators are facing competition.

OpenAI wants to nevertheless make Operator a premier AI automation tool that provides sophisticated task completion beyond basic chatbot interactions.

Operator is positioned to have a great impact in the field of artificial intelligence automation notwithstanding its high cost and restricted availability.
