LEEPA (Kashmir English): The snow removal operation has been underway to clear the Reshian-Leepa Road as the Highways Department of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) in collaboration with Pakistan Army vow to open the road tonight.
As per details, officials of the Highways Department and Pakistan Army are busy in continuous operation with the help of three dozers to remove snow from the main road. Despite heavy snowfall and avalanches, the officials are determined that the road will be restored for all types of traffic tonight.
Meanwhile, some vehicles that were going from Reshian to Leepa are also moving along with the dozers with precautionary measures.
Highways Department and Pakistan Army officials said that despite the harsh weather and difficult conditions, every effort is being made to clear the road for the convenience of the public.
