KARACHI: Pakistan Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) has unveiled the upgraded version of the locally assembled new Suzuki Alto with added safety and other features.
The degradation came after Suzuki Motors hiked the price of the Suzuki Alto by up to Rs. 120,000 in February 2025.
The company earlier hinted that the price was increased due to the addition of new features, including an Anti-lock Braking System and seatbelt indicator.
The other upgraded features in all variants include the changed location of the back door emblem, right front seatbelt pretensioner, front seatbelt reminder, ISOFIX lower anchor, and back door garnish.
The enhanced safety feature came amid the criticism of the 660cc car, which weighs less than standard, making it wobble after minor collisions.
Upgrades in specific variants
The local car dealer shared particular upgraded features for the VXR MT and VXR AGS variants only.
The features include power window switch illumination, front and rear power windows, a safety pinch guard for the driver window, and an auto up/down mechanism for the driver window.
The ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) will be available only in the VXR MT variant, while, side turn lamp has been added to the AGS variant.
