ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): A new spell of rainfall is predicted to start from October, which will make the weather pleasant as the citizens of Pakistan have been facing harsh weather conditions for the last few weeks.
According to the details, the Meteorological Department has stated that a spell of rain will enter Pakistan on October 4 and may continue until October 7.
According to Abdul Aziz, Director of the Meteorological Department in Lahore, light rains are expected in various cities of Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Sindh during this time.
These rains will be pre-winter rains, which will lead to a decrease in temperature and make the weather pleasant. As a result of these rains, the heat wave is likely to break in most areas, while a slight coolness will also be felt in the upper areas.
Meanwhile, rains are already ongoing in Karachi and other cities of Sindh. According to the Meteorological Department, a low-pressure system is entering the Arabian Sea from Indian Gujarat, due to which rain is falling in various districts, including Karachi, Hyderabad, Tharparkar, Umerkot, and Sanghar.
The highest rainfall of 33 millimeters was recorded around the airport yesterday, while water accumulation on the city’s main highways affected traffic flow.
