MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued a weather advisory warning of severe weather conditions in the upcoming days in the region, till May 4, 2025. According to the NDMA weather advisory, there will be thunderstorms, hailstorms, rain and strong winds at intervals throughout this period.

The NDMA weather advisory was shared with the commissioner and chief engineers of all divisions of Azad Kashmir, alerting them of the potential impact of the current weather system. Authorities warn that the conditions may cause damage to trees, electric poles, solar panels, billboards and other loosely attached structures.

The NDMA weather advisory also highlights that the residents are strongly urged to avoid unnecessary travel and outings, and encouraged to stay in their homes, sheltered for the next few days.
