The people are visiting relatives as families and friends continue their festive gatherings along with recreational sites nationwide to mark the occasion.
The families are arranging get-togethers and enjoying food and offering sweets to make the festival memorable.
In Azad Kashmir’s capital, Muzaffarabad, citizens are flocking to parks and picnic spots, enjoying the pleasant weather and leisure time with children.
The administration and municipal authorities have made elaborate arrangements of cleanliness and traffic management besides security measures to prevent any untoward situation.
In the federal capital of Islamabad, popular destinations such as Lake View Park, Pakistan Monument, F-9 Park, Rose and Jasmine Garden, and Ayub National Park are witnessing a large influx of visitors.
Many are also making their way to Murree for a refreshing holiday trip on the second day of Eid.
Eid celebrations began yesterday with congregational prayers held at mosques, open grounds, and Eidgahs across the country.
Special prayers were offered for Pakistan’s prosperity and for the freedom of Muslim territories, including Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and Palestine.
