Muzaffarabad police recover 10 stolen bikes

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Muzaffarabad Police, in an effective operation against criminals, arrested the ringleader of an organized gang involved in motorcycle theft and recovered 10 stolen motorcycles worth millions of rupees from his possession.

According to details, SHO City Police Station Inspector Manzar Hussain Chughtai, along with his team, conducted the operation using modern technology and professional expertise.

Police, with the help of intelligence information and technical means, traced and arrested the accused Jawad Chaudhry son of Maroof, resident of Kalar Khet.

After the arrest, motorcycles stolen from various locations were recovered from the accused’s possession.

Initial investigations revealed that the accused, along with his accomplices, used to steal motorcycles from various areas of Muzaffarabad city and then sell them in the Mansehra and Abbottabad districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the police, this was an organized gang that had been involved in this illegal activity for a long time.

Police officials stated that raid teams have been formed to arrest other members of the gang. The possibility of recovering more stolen motorcycles is also being indicated.

SHO Manzar Hussain Chughtai expressed his determination that the police would further intensify their operations to eradicate crime in the city and ensure the protection of people’s lives and property at all costs.

He also appealed to the public to immediately report suspicious activities to the police so that crime could be effectively controlled.
