Mohsin Naqvi pays tribute to Shaheed Major Saad in Bagh

BAGH (Kashmir English): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Bagh to pay his respects at the residence of Shaheed Major Saad bin Zubair. During his visit, he met with the martyr’s family, expressed his heartfelt condolences, and reaffirmed the nation’s unwavering pride in its armed forces.

Speaking to the family members, including former Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Naqvi stated that those responsible for acts of terrorism against Pakistan would be brought to justice. “We take immense pride in the sacrifices of our brave soldiers. The perpetrators of terrorism will be made an example of,” he asserted.

Naqvi further revealed that the President of Pakistan and the Prime Minister of Pakistan had intended to visit Bagh personally to offer their condolences. However, due to pressing commitments, they were unable to make the trip. “On behalf of the federal government, I have been sent as a representative to express our deepest sympathies and pay tribute to this great sacrifice,” he said. In addition to standing with the Army, he showed support for the Kashmiri people because of their strong backing for military forces and their endurance.

The military force stands strong in its mission as recognized by the leader. The military personnel maintain absolute faith alongside indomitable determination. Terrorism will be eradicated from its roots, and no harm will ever come to Pakistan under the watchful eye of our forces. The sacrifices of our brave martyrs will not be in vain.”

Several notable figures were present during the visit, including Sardar Zubair of the Pakistan People’s Party, former government advisor Sardar Khalid Mahmood Chughtai, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Major (Retd) Abdul Qayyum Baig, Retired Justice Azhar Saleem Babar, former SSP Sardar Yasin Baig, and ex-Political Advisor Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan. Security arrangements during the visit were supervised by Masood Rehman as the Poonch Division Commissioner since he was joined by Raja Sadaqat as Deputy Commissioner of Bagh and other distinguished local administrators, including DIG Sardar Zaheer and SP Bagh Raja Akmal and DSP Sardar Sayyab Abbasi.

The visit underlined the federal government’s dedication to supporting families of martyrs by respecting their sacrifices alongside determining to eliminate terrorism in the nation.
