Mirpur Bar forms free Legal aid committee to help the needy

MIRPUR (Kashmir Digital): The Mirpur Bar has taken an important step to assist the needy citizens through the help of a Free Legal Aid Committee. Mahmood Plakoi, President of Mirpur District Bar Association, initiated this move to provide people free legal advice in cases where a person is not in a position to pay the fee charged by a lawyer.

This move by the Mirpur Bar is being widely praised by the local community. The committee will help poor and marginalized clients get access to justice without any financial burden.

According to the official announcement, Advocate Chaudhry Muhammad Fayyaz, who serves as the General Secretary of the Mirpur Bar, will lead the committee as its Chairman. Other members include Advocate Chaudhry Gul Bahar and Advocate Chaudhry Sajid Masood.

The Mirpur Bar’s initiative ensures that individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds are not denied their right to legal defense due to lack of funds.

President Mahmood Plakoi’s leadership in launching this committee is being recognized as a positive and much-needed effort to promote justice and fairness in the legal system.
