MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Deputy Commissioner Office Mirpur has sealed the offices of 16 different private housing societies in Mirpur Tehsil for not having a proper registration certificate or no-objection certificate (NOC).
DC Mirpur Yasir Riaz issued the order on Wednesday, prohibiting 16 private housing societies from doing any kind of plotting or buying and selling on the land. “Thus, in the future, no private or other housing societies will be able to work in the entire district without NOC and proper registration of housing societies,” Riaz said.
As per the order, various private housing societies have been operating in Mirpur district without NOC and details regarding the societies were obtained from concerned Tehsildars.
Acting on the order, Tehsildar Mirpur shared details of 16 illegal private housing schemes. The list includes ASK Housing Society in Sahang and private schemes located in Bhalot, Rathoa, Khurd, Ratali, Chak Thakra, Bhaliyala, Kas Kalyal, Banni, and Sahang areas of Mirpur.
