MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): In a significant political development, supporters of Raja Saqib Majeed, the Chief Organizer of the All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, shortly referred to as the Muslim Conference (MC) and former candidate for the Legislative Assembly, have formally announced their decision to join the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
The shift comes days after Raja Saqib Majeed held a meeting with Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Amir Muqam. Following the meeting, the political landscape in his constituency began to change, culminating in today’s collective decision by his supporters to align with the PML-N.
According to local sources, this move is expected to strengthen the PML-N’s position in the region and may influence upcoming political activities within Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
