GILGIT BALTISTAN (Kashmir English): The Markazi Anjuman Imamia Gilgit-Baltistan has issued an important statement expressing strong reactions to the recent attacks on Iran and the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader.
The statement has strongly reacted by calling America the “Great Satan” and Israel an “illegitimate state”.
Call for condolences and protest on the martyrdom
The Markazi Anjuman Imamia has expressed its condolences to the heart of freedom-loving Muslims around the world and to the Imam of the Family of Muhammad (PBUH) on the martyrdom of the Deputy Imam, Hazrat Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. Against this great tragedy, it has been announced from the center that all believers should ensure full participation in the protest rally starting from the Central Imamia Jamia Mosque in Gilgit today after Zuhr prayers.
Protest and action plan at the regional level
The statement has also issued instructions for those believers who cannot reach Gilgit for any reason. All such individuals have been instructed to register peaceful protests in their respective areas after Zuhr prayers, while the future course of action will be announced by the central leaders soon.
Discipline and Law Enforcement
The spokesperson of the Central Imamia Association has specially requested all participants to take special care of discipline during the protests. The statement has emphasized that all participants should ensure unity, organization, and law enforcement at all costs and express their feelings in a completely peaceful manner so that any kind of mischief can be avoided.
