BHIMBER (Kashmir English): The M-Khan Super League Bhimber Edition Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) was launched with a jersey unveiling ceremony attended by officials and team captains, where Deputy Commissioner Mirza Arshad Mehmood Jarral praised the league for promoting youth sports in Azad Kashmir.
The official jersey unveiling ceremony for all eight participating teams of the M-Khan Super League Bhimber Edition took place yesterday at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Bhimber.
The event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Mirza Arshad Mehmood Jarral, Assistant Commissioner Ayes Beg, Revenue Officer Mohammad Ali, Assistant Director of Sports, Youth & Culture Kamal Subhani, Chairman of the Leader Ball Association Qasim ur Rehman, League Chairman Hafiz Shahid Khurshid, League President Ahmed Subhani, team captains, and the M-Khan Super League management.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Deputy Commissioner Mirza Arshad Mehmood Jarral distributed team jerseys to the captains and addressed the gathering, expressing his appreciation for the league’s positive impact on the youth.
“It is highly encouraging to see such a well-organised leader ball league in Bhimber,” he said. “M-Khan’s efforts to engage young people in healthy, constructive activities are commendable.”
He extended his best wishes to all participating teams and praised the league management’s dedication to promoting cricket in the region. The Deputy Commissioner also assured full administrative support for the event, which was met with gratitude by the organisers.
The Azad Kashmir government remains devoted to developing sports through strong initiatives because the government has decided to organize high-quality sporting events in the upcoming years.
Everyone gathered for a final group photograph including league officials captains and distinguished guests during the conclusion of the event.
