ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The silver rates in Pakistan have observed a continuous surge over the last three months, rising to Rs9,869 per tola in Pakistan.
Local and international gold and silver prices continued to set new record highs on Tuesday, which led traders to the conclusion that a new global benchmark was established at USD4,713 per ounce.
The local gold prices were further boosted by the global uptrend, reaching new heights of Rs493,662 per tola and Rs423,235 per 10 grams, which is an increase of Rs4,300 and Rs3,686, respectively, as stated by All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The domestic silver market also moved up following the rise in gold Prices and reached a new record high of Rs9,869 per tola and Rs8,461 per 10 grams, which means a rise of Rs87 and Rs75, according to the association.
