LEEPA VALLEY (Kashmir English): A major breakthrough has been seen in the establishment of Danish Schools in Forward Kahuta and Leepa Valley districts of Azad Kashmir as the Azad Kashmir government has allocated hundreds of kanals of Khalsa Sarkar land for the establishment of the institutions.
According to details, as per the notification issued by the Board of Revenue, 150 kanals of Khalsa Sarkar land has been earmarked for Danish School in Luyian area of Khurshidabad Tehsil, Haveli Kahuta.
In Syedpura (Khairati Bagh) area of Leepa Valley Tehsil, Jhelum Valley District, 56 kanals and 2 marlas of Khalsa Sarkar land has been earmarked.
It is to be remembered that Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore had demanded a Danish School for Forward Kahuta from Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Shehbaz Sharif, which Sharif had approved.
Danish School in Tehsil Mumtazabad
Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has allocated land for Danish School in his ancestral Tehsil Mumtazabad.
On the other hand, the people of Leepa Valley have thanked Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore and Education Minister Dewan Ali Khan Chughtai for the initiative.
It is also to be remembered that earlier, the foundation stone of Danish Schools had been laid in Bhimber and Bagh, Azad Kashmir.
Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif had announced three schools, while the fourth school was given to Prime Minister Faisal Rathore’s ancestral constituency Forward Kahuta at his request.
