SEHNSA (Kashmir Digital): Acting on the orders of Superintendent Kotli Police Adeel Ahmed Langrial, a large-scale crackdown on drug dealers is currently underway across the district, leading to a major seizure of 495 bottles of high-quality liquor in Sehnsa.
Under the direct supervision of DSP/SDPO Kotli Headquarters, Muhammad Shehzad Chaudhry, and led by Inspector Wasim Nawaz, SHO Sehnsa Police Station, a team carried out a successful operation against known drug dealers.
The team included Sub-Inspectors Muhammad Akram and Muhammad Masood, ASI Zohaib-ul-Hassan, IHC Muhammad Arif, DFC Rashid Mehmood, Constables Imran Khalid, Muhammad Faheem, and other staff from Sehnsa Police Station, Holar Post, and Chhoch Check Post.
Based on reliable sources, the police conducted a raid at a drug-selling location in Lona Sandi.
The operation targeted notorious individuals including Adnan who is the son of Javed, a resident of Dheri Qasim, Dadyal, Aamir Matloob who is the son of son of Matloob, Abdul Qadir who is the son of Jahangir, Badal the son of Ikhlaq, and Aqib, son of Bashir.
These suspects are already listed in police records and some are declared wanted criminals across Sehnsa and other police jurisdictions.
The police recovered 495 bottles of liquor during the raid and registered a case based on offences 3/4 in the Prohibition of Narcotics Act.
Police are actively searching for the suspects and have promised that the individuals will be held accountable very soon.
Just a few days earlier, Sehnsa Police had conducted a similar raid on the suspects’ hideouts and seized 252 bottles of liquor, further strengthening the current crackdown on drug dealers in the area.
Kotli Police reaffirmed their commitment to protecting the lives and property of citizens, reaffairming that the Kotli Police will continue its actions against drug dealers without any discrimination.
The department has urged the public to support law enforcement in eradicating the menace of drugs from the roots.
The recent actions against drug dealers point to the Kotli Police’s strong focus on keeping narcotics out and communities secure. By joining forces, they hope to tear down the drug networks that run in the area.
