KARACHI (Kashmir English): With his three-wicket haul against Quetta Gladiators in the Friday’s match, Karachi Kings vice-captain Hasan Ali became the Pakistan Super League (PSL)’s all-time leading wicket-taker.
Hasan Ali broke Wahab Riaz’s previous PSL record of 113 wickets in 87 matches by taking 116 wickets in 84 games.
Ali achieved the historic milestone when he dismissed Quetta Gladiator’s Hassan Nawaz for just one run.

Ali seems to be in superb form, having claimed eight wickets in just three matches this PSL season.
Speaking after the match, Hasan Ali expressed his delight over surpassing Wahab Riaz’s record, also acknowledging the hard work and dedication that made it possible.
“It’s a special feeling to set a new record in PSL, and it’s all possible just because of the support of my team and fans,” Ali said.
With Friday’s win, Karachi Kings now sit third in the ongoing PSL standings. The side have won two out of their three games, accumulating 4 points.
