MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Pasban-e-Hurriyat (PeH) Jammu and Kashmir has announced that a protest will be staged in the capital against the visit of Indian Home Minister Amit Shah to occupied Kashmir on April 7.
In a statement issued to media, Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali said that Kashmiri people denounce the Indian home Minister’s visit to occupied Kashmir as India should know that the conspiracies to enslave the people of Jammu and Kashmir through military coercion, arrests and bullets will never succeed.
India is present in Kashmir as an occupier
He made it clear that India is present in Kashmir as an occupier, usurper and the worst imperialist.
“The Bharatiya Janata Party government has snatched away state, identity, civil and political rights from the people of Jammu and Kashmir”, Ghazali lamented.
He said that the Delhi rulers and Amit Shah have completely failed in all their efforts to bring the Kashmiri people under pressure through one million soldiers and imposing black laws in the occupied territory.
He said that the people of the state hold Amit Shah responsible for the heinous act of August 5, 2019 and express only hatred upon his arrival in occupied Kashmir.
Uzair said that India should know that it can never succeed in its conspiracies to enslave the Kashmiri people at gunpoint.
“The Kashmiri people are courageously confronting the terrorism of the world’s worst imperialism, wrapped in a so-called democratic face”, he added.
He appealed to the people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir to raise their voice against Indian oppression and tyranny.
He also stated that a social media campaign with #EndIndianOccupation will be launched on the visit of Indian Home Minister Amit Shah to occupied Kashmir.
Moreover, he appealed the citizens of Muzaffarabad to ensure their participation in the anti-India protest in front of the Central Press Club on April 7 at 10 am.
