Join Pakistan Army: Registration, recruitment schedule released

MIRPUR (Kashmir English): Pakistan Army has issued schedule for the recruitment of Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), and to fill several other positions.

According to a press release issued by the Deputy Commissioner District Mirpur, registration and recruitment for Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb), Sepoy General Duty Trade, Sepoy Technical Trade, Sepoy Military Police Trade, Sepoy Driver, Sepoy Clerk, Sepoy Cook in Pakistan Army will be conducted from September 1 to November 23, 2025.

The upper age limit for Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb) is 20 to 28 years, while for candidates already serving in the army, the age limit is 22 to 35 years.

For Sepoy General Duty Trade, graduate or higher educated candidates are given a relaxation of up to one year in the upper age limit.

For the dependents of martyrs and those injured during war, and candidates holding a driving licence, there is a relaxation of up to 2 years in the upper age limit, and such individuals will be given priority for recruitment.

Candidates holding domicile of Balochistan and merged districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa are given a relaxation of 3 years in age.

For Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb), the minimum height must be 05 feet 3 inches (160cm).

For Sepoy General Duty, Sepoy Driver, Sepoy Technical, the minimum height must be 05 feet 06 inches (167.5cm).

For Sepoy Military Police, the minimum height must be 5 feet 08 inches (173cm). For Sepoy Clerk and Sanitary Worker, the minimum height must be 5 feet 3 inches (160cm).

For Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb), a Dars-e-Nizami degree from religious seminaries, verified by the Higher Education Commission, is mandatory.

Minimum FA / FSC or equivalent, proficiency in spoken Arabic, Qira’at, and Hifz will be considered additional qualifications.

For Sepoy General Duty, Sepoy Driver, Sepoy Military Police, minimum matriculation or higher is mandatory, while for children of martyrs and merged districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (except Military Police), minimum middle pass is mandatory.

For Sepoy Technical Trade, minimum Matric Science (C grade) or higher educated individuals will be preferred. For Sepoy Clerk, minimum Intermediate (C grade) is mandatory.

For candidates belonging only to the merged districts of Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, minimum Intermediate (D grade) is mandatory, while those with computer diplomas and higher education will be preferred.

For Sepoy Cook, minimum middle pass and candidates with cooking experience will be preferred.

For Sanitary Worker, those with primary education will be preferred, and a specific quota is reserved for minorities.

Candidates coming for recruitment must bring original documents along with 2 attested photographs, 4 passport-sized photographs, computerized identity card, domicile, and resident certificate.

For Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb), candidates can obtain application forms on the prescribed format from Army Selection or Recruitment Centers (Gilgit, Peshawar, D.I. Khan, Muzaffarabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta, Khuzdar, Turbat, Pano Aqil, Hyderabad, and Karachi) from September 1 to November 23, 2025.

Candidates can register online at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk from August 25 to November 16, 2025, however, online registration is not mandatory.

Pakistan Army Selection and Recruitment Office

Candidates can register by visiting the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Office or Regimental Office from September 1 to November 23, 2025.
