ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The residents of Pakistan are set to celebrate Independence Day with patriotic fervor. Special celebrations on the occasion of Mak-e-Haq and Independence Day will start from today evening.
The main ceremony will be held at Jinnah Stadium, Islamabad, at 8 pm tonight, where President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, federal ministers, and other prominent personalities will participate. Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir will also be present on the occasion.
The ceremony will also include a flypast of JF-17 Thunder, presentation of national songs, and a musical show.
Along with this, all the major political parties of the country have announced that the Independence Day will be celebrated in a dignified and dignified manner.
The leaders of the parties have appealed to the people to avoid wasteful spending on this occasion and give their money and donations to the poor, needy, helpless, orphans, the needy, and deserving people so that they too can participate in the joys of Independence Day.
