JHELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): In view of the prevailing situation in the country, the District Health Officer (DHO), Jhelum district, has issued a circular imposing an emergency alert in the entire district.
According to the circular, the District Headquarters Hospital, all Tehsil Headquarters Hospitals (THQs), Rural Health Centers (RHCs), Basic Health Units (BHUs), and all first aid posts have been put on high alert.
All medical staff and ambulance drivers have been instructed to remain at their stations at all times to ensure immediate response in any emergency. Along with this, the leaves of all staff have been cancelled till further notice.
The Health Department has appealed to the public to contact the nearest medical center immediately in case of any emergency.
