MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Student leader and Jammu Kashmir National Students Federation (JKNSF) Central President, Khawaja Mujtaba Bande, has filed a case against a core member of JAAC, Raja Sohaib Javed, for assault and taking hostage.

The complainant further alleged that the accused also snatched his mobile phone and Rs5,500 of cash, adding that he was also kept hostage for several hours at gunpoint.

Raja Sohaib Javed, named in the FIR, told Kashmir Digital that there were some doubts on the issue, which have been cleared to a large extent.

“A committee has been formed by the Jammu and Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee and NSF to sort out the issues and eliminate the misunderstanding that has arisen,” he said.

Another individual, named in the FIR, told Kashmir Digital that evidence of Mujtaba Bande dishonoring citizens was found by them, due to which he himself broke his mobile phone.
