ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Islamabad United has appointed Luke Ronchi as its new head coach for the upcoming season.
Islamabad United owner Ali Naqvi made the formal announcement on social media. Luke Ronchi has previously represented Islamabad United as a player.
According to the franchise, Luke Ronchi has always been a fan favorite in the Islamabad United jersey and is considered one of the most influential foreign players in the history of PSL. His strong bond with the team and the fans continues to this day.

Islamabad United owner Ali Naqvi said, “Luke Ronchi has been and will continue to be a part of Islamabad United. Once a lion, he is always a lion. We are happy that Luke Ronchi has become available this season.
He understands the culture and standards of the team very well, and we are delighted to have him back as head coach.”
On this occasion, Luke Ronchi said, “Islamabad United has always been like home to me. My relationship with its fans and the entire ISLU family is truly special.
It is a great honour for me to return as the head coach, and I am excited to develop new leaders and match winners for this great team.”
The Islamabad United management is hopeful that the team will perform brilliantly in PSL 11 under the leadership of Lok Ronchi.
The head coach position of Islamabad United was vacant after Mike Hesson was associated with the Pakistan team as head coach.
