DUBAI (Kashmir English): India has won the Asia Cup 2025 title by 5 wickets against Pakistan.
For the first time in the 41-year history of the Asia Cup, India and Pakistan are in the final, which is being played in Dubai.
In the final match, India won the toss and decided to field first against Pakistan. The entire Pakistan team was dismissed for 146 runs in 19.1 overs.
Chasing a target of 147 runs, India was dismissed for 130 runs in 18 overs. India’s first wicket fell in the second over when Abhishek Sharma was dismissed for 5 runs off Fahim’s ball. India’s second wicket fell at a score of 10 when Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav was dismissed for one run by Shaheen.
On a total score of 20, Shubman Gill also fell to Fahim Ashraf for 12 runs. On a total score of 77, Sanju Samson fell to Abrar for 24 runs.
Earlier, the entire Pakistan team was dismissed for 146 runs in 19.1 overs.
The first Pakistani player to be dismissed was Sahibzada Farhan, who played an innings of 57 runs off 38 balls and was caught by Varun for a total score of 84.

Indian team’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been ruled out of the final due to injury, and Rinku Singh has been included in the playing eleven in his place.
