India shifts to hybrid warfare after losing 'Marka-e-Haq', says Field Marshal Asim Munir

RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Field Marshal Asim Munir, has said that India has lost ‘Marka-e-Haq’ and is now resorting to hybrid warfare through proxies like Fitna-ul-Kharij and Fitna-ul-Hindustan.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met and addressed the participants of the 16th session of the National Workshop Balochistan.

“The development of Balochistan is the guarantee of national unity,” while addressing the participants.

The workshop was attended by members of parliament, civil society representatives, government officials, intellectuals, journalists, including the youth.

The Field Marshal said that “all these seditionist elements will also meet the same fate that they met in the ‘Marka-e-Haq’.”

The Army Chief termed the socio-economic development of Balochistan as indispensable for the national unity and stability of Pakistan. The Field Marshal said that the Pakistan Army will continue its struggle until the complete eradication of the scourge of terrorism.

COAS Munir strongly rejected India’s open patronage of terrorist groups and said that it is a failed attempt to weaken the patriotism of the patriotic people of Pakistan, especially the Baloch people.

He added that terrorism has no religion, sect, or race; therefore, the entire nation must unite and become one voice against it, adding that it is not possible to deal with a threat like terrorism without collective national resolve.

Highlighting the importance of ongoing development projects in Balochistan, the Field Marshal stressed on further improve cooperation with international organizations and adopt a common national strategy for the development of the province.

The Field Marshal said that any internal or external threat faced by the motherland will be met with a befitting reply, and national dignity and the security of the people will be ensured at all costs.

The session concluded with an open and lively question-and-answer session between the Army Chief and the participants.
