DUBAI (Kashmir English): India and Australia will meet in a cut-throat clash today (Tuesday) as battle for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 continues.

Today’s game will be the first semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy which will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Both the teams will vie for a spot in the Champions Trophy final scheduled to be played on March 9 (Sunday).

The second semi-final between New Zealand and South Africa will be played tomorrow (March 5) at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. The match will begin at 2pm PST (9am GMT).

ICC Champions Trophy final

The winners of these two games will battle it out for the title of the ICC Champions Trophy on Sunday, with the venue still to be confirmed.

Today’s game will be a rematch of the 2023 Cricket World Cup final with theatrics, fireworks and drama likely to be in the works.

In 2023, Australia had lifted the World Cup trophy by defeating India with a convincing 6-wicket margin.

India won all three games of the Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai with beating New Zealand in the last game of the group-stage matches.

On the other hand, two of the Aussies’ three games have been rain-affected, including one completely abandoned. But they were fast enough to cruise to an impressive win against Afghanistan before rain ended proceedings. They started the tournament with an impressive victory over England that also involved a mammoth run chase.
