RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has said that India has adopted terrorism as a policy against Pakistan. He said that India is supporting and financing terrorist activities in Pakistan.
In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, DG ISPR said that India has adopted state-sponsored terrorism as a policy against Pakistan, and these nefarious intentions are a systematic conspiracy to destabilise the security of Pakistan, especially Balochistan.
According to Al Jazeera TV, this reaction of DG ISPR has come in the context of the bomb blast that took place in Waziristan last month, in which 16 soldiers were martyred and more than 20 people were injured. The responsibility for this attack was claimed by the banned terrorist organization Fitna-ul-Kharij (TTP).
The DG ISPR said that India is directly involved in these attacks and is supporting and financing terrorist activities in Pakistan.
In the interview, he clarified that the term “Khuwarij” has been widely used in the Pakistani army and media in recent days, and this term is used for armed groups that attack the state and the army.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that the current Fitna al-Kharij is a continuation of this misguided ideology, which has been killing Muslims under its misguided faith.
He added that in Islam, the authority to wage jihad or fight lies only with the state, not with any individual, organization or group.
The DG ISPR further said that the Fitna al-Kharij has nothing to do with Islam, humanity, Pakistan or Pakistani traditions. He revealed that the term “Fitna al-Hindustan” is used in Pakistan for those terrorists who are supported by India, and these groups are especially active in the Balochistan province to destabilise the country.
He said that the Indian political leadership has admitted to supporting terrorism in Pakistan on several occasions, while the mastermind of the Indian state terrorism network is Ajit Doval. He said that many countries including the US and Canada have admitted to Indian state terrorism.
Talking about Iran, the DG ISPR said that Pakistan reiterates its political and diplomatic support for Iran, which is the target of Israeli aggression, and Pakistan considers any aggression against Islamic countries as a serious threat to regional stability.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that Pakistan’s nuclear program is completely safe, no one can dare to target our nuclear program. He said that Pakistan is a responsible and declared nuclear power, and Pakistan’s nuclear capability is invincible, which reflects Pakistan’s confidence in its defense capabilities and the current regional balance.
