Husband kills TikToker wife before committing suicide in Islamabad’s DHA

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): A man shot his TikToker wife dead before committing suicide in the Humak police station jurisdiction here on the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr (Saturday).

The victim was later identified as a Popular Pashto TikToker Sana Javed. She was tragically shot dead by her husband, Muhammad Sadiq near Lingnam Tower in DHA-II, falling under the limits of Islamabad’s Humak police station. Both were permanent residents of Attock.

TikToker’s account “OutLofara”

Sana Javed, who had a TikTok account called OutLofara, had been married once before. She took divorce from her first husband, Shafiq Ahmed, and then married to Sadiq.

Investigators suspect that domestic conflict resulted in the killing of Sana Javed.

The initial investigation showed that the suspect shot the victim before shooting himself in the head.

The suspect, Muhammad Sadiq, previously served as a constable in Attock Police, but was dismissed from service.

According to the FIR registered at Humak police station, the suspect initially shot his wife and then committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.

CCTV footage featuring the incident showed that the accused chased his wife in the parking lot of the market and then fired upon her.

Within a few seconds of killing his wife, he also shot himself in the head. As many as three shells of fired bullets and a 9mm pistol have been recovered from the site of the incident, the police said.

According to the first information report (FIR), a private security guard informed the police that he was performing his duties in a market in DHA Phase-II on the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr.

“I heard gunshots from the parking area and saw a woman wearing a red dress lying on the ground,” the security guard, also the complainant in the case, told the police.

He alleged that a man in his mid-20s was present at the scene with a pistol in his hand, who then proceeded to shoot himself in the head. The guard said he informed his superiors, who then informed the police of the incident.
