ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The total number of social media users in Pakistan has exceeded 510 million with Facebook still the most popular platform among Pakistanis.
X services are, however, used by the fewest Pakistanis. The number of social media users in Pakistan continues to increase rapidly.
Pakistani social media user accounts exceeded 516.1m
According to a report by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the number of Pakistani user accounts on various social media apps has exceeded 516.1 million.
The report states that Facebook holds the first position with 101.6 million users, while the number of Pakistanis using YouTube is 96.66 million.
According to the PTA report, 91.7 million Pakistanis use WhatsApp, while TikTok is the fourth most popular social media platform with 90.3 million accounts.
The report states that the number of Snapchat users in Pakistan is 70.98 million, Instagram users are 49.9 million, and X has 15.3 million users.
