CHINARI (Kashmir English): International humanitarian organization Hope distributed Eid gifts and food packages among poor and needy children in Jhelum Valley district.
The gifts were distributed among the children during a ceremony held on the instructions of Dr. Mubeena Qasim, Chairperson Hope. Eid gifts and food packages were distributed among poor and needy children in the remote and backward areas of Bani Langrial and Kona Habib Dori in Jhelum Valley district.
The joy that is Eid!
The event was aimed to bring the joy of Eid to the weaker sections of the society and fulfill their basic needs.
Hope coordinators Sanjeeda Hameed and Naila Wani said that every year on the occasion of Eid, this organization provides gifts, educational materials, and food items to children living in backward areas of Azad Kashmir and Pakistan.
He emphasized that serving humanity their primary mission, especially focusing on health, education, and well-being of children.
“We strive to ensure that every child gets his basic right, no matter how remote the area is they live in.”
He said that such initiatives not only bring smiles to the faces of children but also give poverty-stricken families an opportunity to join in the festivities of Eid.
Dr. Mubeena Qasim, while thanking the participants, said that Hope was committed to reaching out to every member of society, especially in the areas of children’s education and health adding that their efforts will continue.
