ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Wednesday reduced the diesel and petrol prices across the country for the next fortnight, in a relief to inflation-hit masses.
According to the notification issued by the Finance Division, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved a reduction in the prices of petroleum products.
As per details, with a reduction of Rs 5.66 per liter, the new price has been fixed at Rs263.2.
Similarly, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has also been dropped by Rs1.39 to Rs275.42 per litre. The price of kerosene oil has been cut by Rs3.26 to Rs181.71 per litre.
Moreover, the price of light diesel oil is fixed at Rs162.76 per litre for the next fortnight.
