ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The government has announced an increase in financial assistance under the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) and its sub-programs to provide economic relief to low-income families.
The move will help improve the quality of children’s education and health.
According to a statement issued through BISP’s official Facebook account, the quarterly financial assistance for women registered under the Benazir Kafaalat Program has been increased.
Previously, this amount was Rs13,500, which has now been raised to Rs14,500.
Similarly, financial support provided to children under the Benazir Nashonuma Program has also been increased.
The stipend per child has been increased by Rs500 to provide better facilities for children’s basic needs, health, and development.
The aim of this initiative is to help financially vulnerable families and provide children with a healthy and balanced environment.
BISP Education Scholarships
Furthermore, Benazir Education Scholarships have also been increased. The financial assistance provided to each student has been increased by Rs500 to encourage children’s education and motivate them to participate in educational activities. These measures are seen as a positive step towards social justice and the promotion of education.
According to BISP, these reforms are not only for providing financial assistance but also aim to strengthen social development and children’s education and health.
This decision by the government will help low-income families meet their daily needs and provide children with better education and health facilities.
