ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Private Hajj operators have sprang into quick action to ensure the Hajj 2026 of the non-governmental pilgrims by transferring all the required funds to Saudi Arabia much before the deadline.
Good news for non-governmental Hajj pilgrims as well, in advance of the deadline, private tour operators have completed 100 percent of the payments for accommodation, food, and other services related to all pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.
Bookings for residence in Mina have also been completed. The operators asserted that no candidate would be deprived of the opportunity to perform Hajj this year.
Chairman HOPE, Nasir Khan, said the required funds in Saudi Arabia are fully available in the e-wallets of private Hajj tour operators.
For private pilgrims in Pakistan, plots for Mina and Arafat, along with other arrangements, have been uploaded much ahead of the Saudi timeline.
The government had given a December 31 deadline to the private Hajj operators to transfer the funds of the pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
It further explained that in case of failure of payment within the specified time, the private quota shall stand transformed into the government Hajj scheme. Due to delayed transfers of funds, last year, 63,000 Pakistani pilgrims could not perform Hajj.
