Gold prices hit new record high in Azad Kashmir

MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): In a recent development, the gold rates have hit a new record high, reaching over three lakhs rupees in Azad Kashmir.

According to the latest rates of the Central Bullion Market, today, April 5, 2025, 24-carat gold per tola is being sold for Rs 324,000 while 10 grams of gold is being sold for Rs 277,775.

Similarly, 22-carat gold per tola is available for Rs 313,900 and 10 grams for Rs 269,120.

An increase in gold prices has also been seen in various cities of Pakistan including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Multan, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Hyderabad, Sialkot, Jhelum, Chakwal, D.G. Khan, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Kasur, Attock, Khanewal, Chiniot, Hafizabad, Sukkur, Gilgit, Jhang and Skardu, 24-carat gold is being sold for Rs 332,200 per tola, while 10 grams of gold is being sold for Rs 284,808.

Whereas, 22-carat gold has reached Rs 344,595 per tola, and 10 grams of gold has reached Rs 261,074.

The price of gold has stabilized in the international market, where 24-carat gold remains at $2,336 per ounce. It is important to note that gold rates fluctuate and can differ depending on the location.
