MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Major General Zafar Mahmood, GOC Murree, arrived in Muzaffarabad and visited the Jamal Foundation, where he reviewed the ongoing welfare activities under the foundation.
On this occasion, the foundation administration and local residents gave him a warm welcome.
Major General Zafar Mahmood praised the measures taken for orphaned and needy children, stating that such welfare organisations are a ray of hope in society.
He met with the children, inquired about their education and training, and urged them to study hard and progress.
The foundation administration briefed Major General Zafar Mahmood about various departments of the institution and informed him that orphaned and needy children are provided with accommodation, education, and other basic facilities there.

On this occasion, Major General Zafar Mahmood praised the foundation’s efforts and assured that all possible cooperation would continue for the welfare of needy and orphaned children.
After Iftar, Eid gifts were also distributed among the children. The children offered special prayers for Major General Zafar Mahmood and expressed their heartfelt affection for the Pakistan Army.
