JHELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): Syed Ghulam Murtaza Kazmi, a prominent political and social leader from Chinari, Jhelum Valley district, has celebrated his 50th birthday by passing the matriculation exam.

Passing matriculation at the age of 50 might be a dream for some, but Ghulam Murtaza Kazmi turned it into a reality, writing new history across the region.

After achieving remarkable success in the matriculation exams conducted by the Mirpur Board, he stated that education is not just a piece of paper but awareness, determination, and continuous self-improvement.

He said that the learning process is not dependent on age, and if a person has passion, no obstacle, whether it is age, busy schedule, or lack of resources, can stand in the way.

Practical example for both youth and elders

Ghulam Murtaza Kazmi’s success is not just his personal achievement but a practical example for both youth and elders that it is never too late to learn.

His success in the area is not only being praised but is also creating new aspiration among the youth and new courage among the elders.

Kazmi in his message said that if young people work with hard work and dedication, success will kiss their feet. “I did this at the age of fifty, why can’t you?”

It should be noted that matriculation education is also mandatory for local body elections. It is not known whether Ghulam Murtaza Kazmi is interested in contesting local body elections or passed the matriculation exam out of love for education.
