ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Italy has announced the MAECI Scholarship 2026-2027 Programme for Pakistani students who are interested in continuing their education in Europe.

This scholarship is being offered by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), which will provide fully-funded scholarships to international students, including Pakistani students, to study at top Italian universities.

The MAECI Italy Scholarships 2026 is an effort to enhance global collaboration in education while promoting the Italian language, culture, and excellence in education.

The students who will be selected for the scholarship will have the opportunity to study at some of the most historic and prestigious universities in Europe, including the University of Bologna, Sapienza University of Rome, and Politecnico di Milano.

The MAECI Scholarship 2026-27 offers full financial assistance to make studying abroad less burdensome. The selected candidates will be awarded a monthly allowance of €900 to meet their living costs during their stay in Italy.

Moreover, the students are also exempt from tuition and enrollment fees at public universities, except for some minor charges that might be applicable.

The scholarship also offers health and accident insurance coverage throughout the scholarship period. The scholarships are awarded for three, six, or nine months, depending on the course, and have the possibility of renewal for longer academic programs.
