BHIMBER (Kashmir English): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Interior Minister Colonel (retd) Waqar Ahmed Noor on Saturday inaugurated the front desk room at Barnala Police Station in Bhimber district.
Speaking on the occasion, Most Senior Ministers, accompanied by SSP Muhammad Amin, emphasized that protecting life and property is the government’s top priority.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, the government of Azad Kashmir is solving the basic problems of the people, increasing police resources and capacity in all districts to maintain the situation of law and order.
The Azad Kashmir Police Department is making police records online throughout the region, with applications and FIRs being digitized on the CMS system, the minister said.
In addition, the process of digitising all the registered FIRs at the police station is also underway.
“All the FIRs registered from 2010 to date have been made online. This will make it possible to trace the accused as soon as possible.”
As per details, the government has also introduced various initiatives, including a historic health package worth over Rs. 97 crore, recruitment of 3100 candidates on merit through NTS, and activation of the PSC in a transparent manner.
Colonel Waqar Ahmed Noor highlighted that the government is providing equal opportunities for development across the state, with resources distributed fairly.
On the occasion, Member District Council Chaudhry Muhammad Haroon-ul-Rashid, Member District Council Raja Muhammad Shafiq, the journalist community, and other dignitaries were present.
