ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Minister of Information and Broadcasting of Pakistan, Attaullah Tarrar, has informed that the Fitna al Khawarij has attempted to launch small drones to attack different regions of Pakistan.
The Minister in his post published on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) has stated that Fitna al Khawarij terrorists have attempted to launch small drones in Abbotabad, Swabi, and Nowshera.
Anti-drone systems have brought down all the drones. No damage to life. The incidents have exposed direct linkages between the Afghan Taliban Regime and Terrorism in Pakistan, Attaullah added.

This development comes after a suspicious drone crashed in the Pabini area of the Swabi district. According to District Police Officer (DPO) Swabi, Waqas Rafique, a heavy contingent of police and the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) were immediately dispatched to the scene as soon as the incident was reported.
DPO Waqas Rafique has confirmed that no loss of life or property has been reported so far in the incident of the drone crash.
As a precautionary measure, the police cordoned off the entire area, and no unrelated person was allowed to go near the scene of the incident. Teams led by the DSP examined the wreckage of the drone and its nature.
