ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan (FCCP) employees who hold BPS-17 to BPS-22 positions will maintain their financial benefits because the court mandated all employees to convert their transportation benefits into cash, while their judicial allowances increased.

The office order, which bears No. F.11/8/2025/Admin/FCCP contains a decision that was taken according to the powers that Article 208 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan 1973 grants.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan issued a judgment on March 31, 1993, which relates to Civil Appeal No. 107-K of 1989, and the Finance Division issued its instructions on November 25, 2025, which must be followed according to the approval.

The office order will take effect from November 14, 2025, and will remain in force until further notice. The notification states that the decision has been issued with the approval of the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan.

Supreme Court employees have shown disappointment because Federal Constitutional Court officers continue to receive benefits that they believe should match their own allowances and benefits.
