SYDENY (Kashmir English): The Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post has been caught red-handed as it has shared a LinkedIn profile of an individual named Naveed Akram and attempted to link him to Bondi Beach attack, accusing Pakistan.
However, the authorities have now confirmed that the LinkedIn account shared by the Jerusalem Post is a Pakistani citizen and has no connection with the incident, whereas the person involved in the incident is an Afghan National.
The individual has also come forward on his verified Facebook account, categorically denying any involvement and stating that he has been falsely linked to the attack.
Australian authorities have identified the attacker in the recent attack in Sydney as an Afghan national from Nangarhar who migrated to Australia after 2021.
Following this confirmation by the authorities, the claim of the Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post, in which the attacker was described as a 24-year-old Pakistani national, has been proven false.
According to the official investigation, the attacker has no connection to Pakistan. According to the investigation, the post was actually by Sheikh Naveed.
Sheikh Naveed also updated his LinkedIn profile after his Facebook post.
