HATTIAN BALA: Chief Justice of the High Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Justice Sadaqat Hussain Raja, has inaugurated a digital judicial system at Jhelum Valley District Judicial Complex, marking a significant milestone in AJK’s judicial history.
The system “Case Flow Management System” and “Registration of Deeds” aims to modernize the judiciary and make it more efficient.
As per details, the system will enable online case filing, tracking, and management, reducing paperwork and increasing transparency. Lawyers can register for digital case diaries, which will provide them with case details, dates, and other relevant information.
The system can be accessed through a web portal and mobile app, allowing users to access case information from anywhere.
Furthermore, the system provides real-time access to case information, increasing transparency and accountability. The system streamlines case management, reducing delays and increasing the speed of justic.
Under this project, all the judicial systems of Azad Kashmir have been connected to it, while the “Registration of Deeds” system has also become functional in the Jhelum Valley district after Mirpur and Muzaffarabad divisions.
The system will be expanded to other districts and tehsil levels by May 31. The High Court system will be fully automated, allowing for online access to case information.
The inauguration of the digital judicial system is a significant step towards modernizing the judiciary in Azad Kashmir, and is expected to improve the efficiency and transparency of the justice system.
Upon his arrival, the Chief Justice was welcomed by the judicial officers, senior lawyers, and other attendees.
While addressing the ceremony, the Chief Justice of the High Court said that today is an important day in the history of the AJK judiciary, we will always play a role for the supremacy of justice and law.
