ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Rejecting speculations regarding the notification of the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) through the 10th Amendment, he has said that the notification of the ‘CDF’ should be issued as soon as Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Shahbaz Sharif reaches his homeland.
In his statement released on the social networking website X, the Defense Minister wrote that the process of notification of the Chief of Defence Forces has started, the Prime Minister will return soon, and the notification will be issued soon.
He said that there is no need for further internal or external speculations in this regard.
Khawaja Asif wrote in his tweet that irresponsible speculations are being spread regarding the notification of the Chief of Defence, therefore the public should know that the process has started in this regard, Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Shahbaz Sharif is returning to Pakistan soon, the process of issuing the notification will be started as soon as he returns to the country, now the speculations in this regard should end.
