ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The renowned Pakistani boxer Usman Wazir has made an important revelation regarding the announcement of prizes after winning in the boxing ring.
Speaking in a podcast, Usman Wazir said that boxing is the most difficult sport in the world. People do not get to play this sport for long. For boxing, you have to give up a lot, even if you eat boiled food, you forget the taste of food.
The boxer said that I have fought 16 professional fights to date, out of which I have won 16 out of 16, while 11 fights were knockouts.
In response to a question, Usman Wazir said that I want to tell the top authorities of Pakistan to give equal importance to all sports fields, and all players should get equal importance and prizes.
If you announce a prize for one player, then everyone is playing for the flag of Pakistan; announce it for everyone, and give prizes.
He said that players from different cities and areas of Pakistan should be treated equally so that more players are produced, and there should be justice for everyone.
In response to a question, Usman Wazir said that I have never thought of earning money, I do not keep track of how much I have earned, when I get money, I hire coaches to improve myself, so that my game improves.
In response to a question about the announcement of prizes for winning and later receiving them, Usman Wazir said that he has not received any prize from anyone to date.
He said that there are boxers better than me, but no one is going to bring them forward. I want to tell the government that there should be at least one boxing academy in each province.
Or it is worth noting that Usman Wazir belongs to the Astore area of Gilgit-Baltistan, and recently Usman Wazir defeated an Indian opponent.
