MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): An aircraft-shaped balloon with Pakistani flag colors was found in Indian illegally occupied Kashmir near the border area of Samba district on Wednesday.
Jammu and Kashmir Police in the occupied region seized the balloon with PIA branding and Pakistan’s name in Palauna village of the Ghagwal area along the Line of Control (LoC).
According to the Indian media, it was identified by a woman in the fields in the morning. Locals informed the Ghagwal police about the presence of the balloon.
A police team reached the spot and seized the balloon and launched an investigation into the matter.
It should be remembered that similar incidents of balloons with the flag of Pakistan being found in the border areas of IIOJK have occurred in the past.
The police officials told the media that the balloon had Pakistan’s name and flag mark on it.
“At present, the police are investigating the matter as to where this balloon came from and whether there is any conspiracy behind it. Earlier also, incidents of finding such balloons have come to the fore in the border areas. Security agencies are seriously investigating the matter.”
