MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted partly cloudy weather with isolated rain-wind/thunderstorm in Azad Kashmir on Friday night.
The region is expected to experience cloudy weather with rain-wind/thunderstorms on Saturday.
According to the Met Office, windstorms and lightning (at a few places) may damage weak structures like roofs/walls of Kacha houses, electric poles, billboards, vehicles, and solar panels, etc, in lower Sindh, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan during the forecast period.
Additionally, partly cloudy weather with rain-windstorm/thundershower is likely at isolated places in Upper/Central Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Potohar region, Northeastern/Central Punjab, and Sindh.
Dry weather is likely to prevail over other parts of the country.
The Met Office added that hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and lower Sindh.
