MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The Azad Kashmir Information Minister has stressed the significance of Ramadan as a month of blessings, forgiveness, and saving oneself from hell and its suffering. He urged people to respect the sanctity of the blessed month of Ramadan and for people to play their role in helping others, easing the difficulties of others during this holy month.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Information Minister Maulana Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah emphasised that Ramadan is a month of blessings, patience, and charity, urging people to respect its holiness and support those in need.

In a statement, Azad Kashmir Information Minister highlighted that Ramadan offers the best opportunity for worshipping, staying patient, and seeking Allah’s happiness and mercy. He urged people to engage in acts of devotion such as prayer, recitation of the Quran, and charity. He pressed that by doing so we could earn Allah’s mercy and forgiveness.

The minister stressed that Ramadan is not just a time for fasting but also a month of self-discipline, gratefulness, and compassion towards those in need. He called on society to adopt the spirit of sharing and show support to the less fortunate. Ramadan teaches us patience, gratitude, piety, and sympathy for the poor. It is a great opportunity to seek nearness to Allah and His mercy, he added.

Highlighting the values of unity and kindness, Maulana Pir Muhammad Mazhar Saeed Shah reminded people that true observance of Ramadan goes beyond personal worship. The true observance and celebration of the holy month of Ramadan requires looking after the well-being of others. He urged people to donate towards making life easier for those who are facing hardships, whether through financial support, providing food, or acts of kindness regardless of personal gains or connections.

As the month of Ramadan continues, the Information Minister encouraged all to reflect on its teachings, strengthen their faith, and take significant steps toward becoming more sympathetic and responsible members of society.
