LAHORE (Kashmir English): A tragic accident unfolded on Sunday morning, where a bus operated by Shakeel motors met with a fatal crash.

According to the intial reports, the bus was traveling from Awanabad to Lahore when the accident happened. Fortunately, no causalities have been reported yet.

The accident is currently under investigation and more details are still emerging. However, this accident does not stand alone, earlier, a devastating incident occurred in Haveli Kahuta district of Azad Kashmir where a passenger coaster train (2789) going from Forward Kahuta to Rawalpindi met with an accident.

The accident took place near Parthan Ziarat, resulting in the death of five people and injuries to several others.

The rescue teams and police forces rushed swiftly to the location of the accident and shifted the injured to the nearby hospital for further medical assistance.

The deceased have been identified as Abdul Rauf son of Khan Muhammad Khan (village Pedar), Malik Sherbaz son of Suba Khan (village Bhedi), Chaudhry Muhammad Rashid son of Muhammad Din (village Mumtazabad) and Khalid Hussain son of Nek Muhammad (village Mandhar).

According to the reports, the bodies of the deceased have been sent to their native places while the injured have been immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.

Such incidents highlight the importance of road safety and driving with responsibility to avoid such accidents. People are advised to drive carefully and to follow all traffic rules while driving.
